We should have smell-a-vision.

Rosa Autumnalis, grown from a cutting from an 'Old Rose' friend. The name has been disputed by a rose expert.

This has apple-green foliage, always fresh and free of mould, black spot etc. etc. Blooms heavily, rests briefly and keeps on until late fall. The perfume wafts all around as you walk past.

It is on the second gate across from Royal Sunset. Yellow garden is inside this gate. Posted by Picasa

Hi Marion!

Once upon a time I sold perennials and herbs at the local farmer's market and the women in the next booth was named Marion. She was a wonderful, generous person with a ready smile and a green thumb...always with a seedling no one ever heard of.

It warms my heart that a name sake carries on the tradition of gardening with soul.

Wish I had smell o vision. Looks beautiful!
